Put the thrux on a small diet

before, how i bought it

and after, me likey.
no mirrors, no guages, flyscreen gone, no fender no passenger pegs, and tag WAY illegally moved out of sight.

cool little brake resi from brit customs, levers, bonni shocks and maybe Arrow high exhaust. Going for a cup racer kinda look, just cant bring myself to drop a grand on shocks just yet. Oh and cartridge emulators
later D

It's amazing how much better she looks without the gauges. When you say bonnie shocks, do you mean you are wanting to lower it?
may I suggest you remove the horn and install it up under the tank where the reed valve once was before the AI removal...just a tip to clean up the look of that ugly horn.
PS - I'm going to move my tag just like yours.

Hey thanks thats a great idea I hate that thing. And yea i want to lower it just a bit. It looks a little too modern sitting so high IMO. The guages were really easy to get off. I love new stuff sometimes. Unplug and off they went

thanks man

Way cool, man! I love the gaugeless look, although a bit of a problem with keeping track of milage. When I had that state of no gauges, I used tankfuls of fuel to guesstimate - about 125 miles to reserve.

You could also remove the heat guards on the cylinder and the rear pegs if you don't carry a pillion. You'll be amazed how much better the Thrux works with decent rear shocks. Go the Ikons, they are only about $400 and are significantly better than OEM.

Is that plate positioning legal?

Not sure on the actual laws but Texas is pretty lienient on bikes. I got the idea from sport bike guys. They all have them that way here so we'll see. And I was about to ask if I can take those little guards out or not and the rear pegs are gone baby gone. My wife no likey to ride. I may cut the bottom of the seat out and put the battery and everything up under the seat cowl and run the no side panels look. Going to move the ignition switch and change the headlight mounts and go with a black headlight dome, I think. Custom sproket cover as well.

That looks pretty sick!Throw a big fat tire in the back and that bike would be nuts. Way cool!
