All I have a 2003 SM that I have added hardbags to solo seat and pillion and a sissy bar. For me its perfect for two up riding and longer rides. I am looking to get either a thruxton or a bonneville ( which i would modify cafe style to suit me). Either one would be for a single rider only and just for fun around town and on twisties. I will be purchasing used and price is a consideration. The thrux is alot harder to find and always costs more. Bonnevilles are easier to find and it would be fun to modify...maybe even with a big bore kit at some point in the future. If anyone has a SM or America and also has one of the two bikes I would love to hear your opinions. PS. I have no desire for a Thunderbird, Speed Triple etc. Thanks!
