For me comforts ok, did 400 klm the other day and the backside needed a bit of a break (standing up) in the last 50 klm. Mine was a old stock seat made in 04 and the quality is pretty average. I needed to "adjust" the mounting bracket by slotting the mounting points to get it to line up properly (the seat was offset to the left) and the fiberglass base is pretty rough. Overall I'm pretty happy with it now, like the look, But I only paid about 1/2 current retail because of it being old stock. Quality may have improved.

"Vintage" gunfighters won`t fit our Bonnies. The bulbous "Classic" gunfighters fit our Bonnies.Mine was well made and the comfort was ok IF it fits your butt. It didn`t fit mine,so it sleeps with the fish.

I'm interested as well. This pic of Aussiematt's bike helped make up my mind aesthetically:

I've only sat on a gunfighter & lady for about a minute. Initial feel is good and it didn't make my legs splay out like the stock saddle does, but other's experience with long days on this saddle would be appreciated. Based on my beemer experience (I had several corbins over the years on my airheads), I've got what is best described as a corbin-compatible butt and can't see why the triumph-based corbins would be any different.

Cheers,

I have a gunfighter on my thrux. I now have about 23k miles on it. I have had 500 mile days without issue or complaint. I have corbins on all my bikes and have never had a complaint about confort.

Corbin Gunfighter Seat

I installed a new gunfighter on my 01 Bonneville recently. I had to shim the mounting brackets with washers to make it fit. I made a trip last week that required 350 mile days for 4 days and I found the seat to be very comfortable. After 8 years with the stock seat, no comparison.
