Hi new friends: My wife just took delivery of an '05 T100. What a beautiful bike!! I believe I would like an '06 when they come out. Does anyone have any tidbits of information about the '06's? Also I would be interested in more power. We did the usual pipes, air injector removal. I read one review that said 90 hp was possible from that motor. Can anyone give me some suggestions? No great detail is necessary. Also, does anyone know where a Yank can get an authentic British tax disc for a bike? Thanks, Lar

Congratulations to your wife on the new Bonnie!! I saw the tax disks offered on one of the vendor sites: try www.bellacorse.com or www.newbonneville.com.

welcome Lar,
It's a fabulous site , and i've learnt a lot from the guys on the board.
watch out the quest for power doesn't eat your soul. Even tho the new Bonnie has a computer designed frame and contemporary geometry , the basic design has some limitations , like the dual shock swing arm , which means, there is only so much it can cope with till it's overwhelmed . Check out all the mods required to bring the Thruxton cup machines up to handling 100% of the standard 900 engine.

As for a tax disc , I'll have a look at home and see if I have an old one for you , send me your address on a personal message , and I can post it over - Tax disc holders are V. cheap here , basic plain black steel @ $4

Take care

Thanks for the responses to my first posting. But, what about the '06? Anyone have any information?

This is the only '06 Triumph rumor that I have heard, so far:

Triumph has long been rumored to be preparing a replacement for the Trophy 1200 sport tourer (which has been around, largely unchanged, since 1996). That bike may see the light of day in September of this year, and it is expected to displace close to 1300cc. Triumph may also be putting this engine in a sportier bike aimed at the Hayabusa and ZX-12R. We will see.
