I would all so like a thread for the America and Speedmaster's.

As they are so different from the other twins, apart from the motor which is similar to only that of the Scrambler.

So that means any mod's they can do or problems quite often do not apply to us.
And of course any bolt on are different as we have a different frame.

It may have been a low post forum but still needs it own.
As we do have a different frame and motor and are only have being a twin in common.

Yes we do need a Speedmaster/America forum. I have a 05 Speedy and looking for mod ideas. All the Bonne stuff is nice, but it just doesnt relate to me.

We need the America/Speedmaster forum back, PLEASE !!! Before I bought my SM, I got a tremendous wealth of information from current and previous owners. I based my purchase decision on research from the BA/SM forum, and I bought my bike sight unseen, over the phone, from a Triumph dealer in Vancouver, BC. That bike has been so reliable in the 3 1/2 years that I've had it. I learned about so many cool mods, upgrades, hints, and suggestions, specific to my bike, from the forum. Our BA/SM's are different animals than the Bonnevilles, for many reasons, and we need to have our own forum returned to this site.

you could just have a regular bonnie forum .a cruser /bonnie forum and a tbird forum it looks like tech and regular talk gets mixed up any way so why have a tech and regular talk forum anyway.Ether way I dont think the tbirds belong on this forum there not the same bike in anyway.

The best argument for an America/Speedmaster forum is that since I bought my America 3 weeks ago I have slowly been visiting BonnevilleAmerica.com more and more and Triumphrat.net less and less. If TriumphRat wants to be a forum for all triumphs except America and Speedmaster that's fine. America and Speedmaster riders will eventually migrate to BonnevilleAmerica.com

When the speedy/america section got dropped back in 05 I think it was, the reader base was about half what it is now. There are enough riders now to have a separate section again but I always felt that the sections for tech should be divided by ENGINE and not by body style. The Tbird should shoud be separate cause of the unique engine but twin talk could include ALL twins ?

Unhappy

Must admit, I visit a lot less frequently and post much less since the forums were merged. I was a bit stunned the other day when someone posted piccies of their Americanised America and and he got bagged by the Bonnie guys...not impressed.
