New Corbin on my Scrambler

Just received my new Corbin.

Heavy as usual, but very nice!

Side by side gel seat and Corbin.

New seat on. Very nice look and feel!

With ROC Straps on, the way is will usually look!

With Corbin you need to let them break in, about 1000 miles, but nothing better for most bikes!

Looks good, narrow in from for ease of reach, and so far comfy!

Jim

Thumbs up

My wife and I eagerly await a longer-term report, with some passenger input if possible!

The seat looks pretty good Jim!

I'm a fan of the Corbin too - about 12000 miles now on the one I have - 3000 on various others, which pretty much sums it up. It's the only seat I have been able to easily do 500 mile days on.

Is your GS jealous? Feeling lonely?

BTW, I've always appreciated your excellent posts on adv!

Thanks, my GS is likely sold to a nice Canadian guy! My Yamaha is going to be sold soon as well.

The Scrambler seems to be all I need, though I imagine I will have another BMW in the near future.

Jim

Something just occurred to me as worth a mention to you, Jim.

I think some seriously great luggage (and easily removable - a minute at most) for your bike would be the Great Basin bag by Giant Loop.
You may have seen the thread about it in Vendors on adv, or this review.

You might need a little extra stand-off for your pipe, and not sure how you'd work it on a two-up ride. And it is $400. Oy.

But the White/Black version (see the adv thread) would look oh-so-suave on your Scram!

Am definitely ordering one (Black and White) for my new black Bonnie SE, and possibly for use on my Yammie WR250, too, although it might prove too big for that bike.
