Flyscreen question/help needed
Hey all, I just bought a flyscreen for my '09 Scrambler off of eBay. It was described as a Dart tinted flyscreen. Well, it's the clear Triumph flyscreen. The problem is, from just looking at it, I can't figure out how it mounts. I'm either being a very dumb "puzzle pieces" guy or 've been sold the wrong screen. I found some pics online that look like it but I still can't figure it out. Anyone have one installed? Help a brother out?

Disregard my plea. I got it attached but what a huge pain. Do yourself a favor and buy the Dart screen or something that attaches via the headlight brackets. This one mounts to two allen head bolts currently holding the various cabling "bracket". Hard to get to and work with.

Did you email Dart and ask for instructions?

It certainly looks similar, but the fixing bolts appear larger

On studying your ebay purchase image - looks like a copy/fake.
The Dart fixes to the headlight brackets - nowhere else.
I have two of them - they are easy to mount.
Complain, get your cash back.
Good example of ebay rip off.

i think you missed the part where I said it's a "Triumph" flyscreen. The seller was mistaken re the Dart aspect but it is for the Scrambler...just Triumph's version. It's attached and works/looks good. But, it was a pain to get on. It attaches via the 5mm allen head bolts that hold the cable guide behind the headlight. I had to take off the headlight bucket to get it on (still difficult position) and then I discovered that the headlight bolts attach to a cheap plastic piece that serves as both a nut and electrical wiring pinback of sorts. I appreciate Triumph's use of existing bolt holes but like I said, buy the Dart.

That looks like a Triumph OEM flyscreen have one on my Scrambler. They bolt up under the triple clamp and a real pain. Tip: unbolt your headlight to get to the bolts, makes it a quick job of it.
BTW I have a Dart on my Bonnie and its as good or better quality than OEM.

@sofiaspin: no worries. I'm always glad for any feedback when I have a question. I'd spent 25 minutes trying to figure it out. Called a Triumph dealer (no idea) plus the eBay/Dart screen confusion. Finally, I saw the allen head bolts tucked up under there. Strange design considering the headlight bracets are an easy and traditional mounting spot.

They are suspiciously like Steve Dart's Dart flyscreens - I wonder if he has a case for rip off of intellectual property......I have not seen any Scrambler's with this screen, which explains partly the general confusion. They are very close in design to the Dart..........interesting.
