I attended the 19th annual MASS BIA meet in OXFORD, MASS today.Attached are some photos of the bikes at the meet. I had a great time, weather was good as the storms held off until the awards ceremonies were over. Some of the riders on this site may recognize their bikes. I'll post some more pics as the week goes on. Hope you enjoy.

Any one happen to catch who won the non-british and the '90's triumphs and later categories. One of the guys i rode up with rode his 1960 BMW R69 and we talked him into entering it. I thought i might as well put my bike in for ****s and see what happens.

One of the other guys we rode up with had a turbo'd monster. We ended up leaving right after the first round of slow races cause one of the guys had some stuff to take care of. But other than getting a little wet on the way home through Providence it turned out to be an awesome day.

Mass Bia Meet

I don't know about the non brit catagory, but the 90.s and later was won by a bonnie america with a nice blue paint job, second went to my bonnie black and third was another america. I left before the awards were over as I had to head west into the storms. Hit heavy rain and hail but got home safely.

congrats on the second place. I had the Bonneville with the carbon fender, D&D's and bright green shocks. The paint on that amercia was pretty nuts though

It was a great show all around. Most heartening for me was how well all the modern Triumphs fit in with the old bikes. Liquid-cooled, fuel-injected and made of carbon and aluminum, a Daytona 675 looks fine sitting next to a Daytona T100.

For a second there the skies got pretty dark, but no rain.

The BIA show was great, as usual!

Lots of nice old bikes and a few nice NEW ones, too!

The little red 1958 Ariel with the full fairing and windshield always makes me smile. I'd buy one in a heartbeat, if I could find one.

Mass BIA

I hit heavy rain just west of Dudley on 197. I stopped and waited under a tree for about 5 min and continued. Half an hour later and west of Woodstock Ct I encountered hail about the size of dimes for one or two min, again stopping and holing up . After that it cleared and did not rain again until I was 2 miles from home. An interesting and fun Sunday. The paint job on the America that bagged first place was very nice. Attached some additional pics. Enjoy

The BIA meet was great, not as many bikes as last year, could have been a Memorial Day Weekend issue. I too had to run for cover in Brockton. I don't mind rain, but lightning and hail. Spent 1/2 hour at a gas station.
