Pipe kink

This topic has probably been beaten to death around here, but I've got to ask: What is the easiest way to eliminate the kink in the exhaust of 01-08 Bonnevilles? The new SE has (finally) eliminated them and I'd like to accomplish the same feat on my '02. The kink seems to be in the mufflers themselves whereas the pipes simply curve upwards. Are the SE pipes any different? Or are they the same with different mufflers? What's the diff between these systems and the Thruxton? Will these kink-less systems bolt on to a Bonneville or could the Bonnie support kink-less mufflers?

I've posted this question before and got good responses, but I want to know if anyone has any experience with the SE system and whether or not it may be interchangeable with a regular Bonnie. As for the Thruxton I've heard that it may not clear the foot controls of the Bonneville. Anyone ever had experience with this?

Where the kink is. I have a 2007 T100 and the mount-point for the tail silencers is angled out and up, away from the wheel. If I had very straight pipes mounted from that point, they'd be next to the pannier bags at the front edge. I failed to notice this when I bought a set of Thruxton silencers but it became obvious it wasn't going to work very quickly.

Anyone want stock thruxton pipes?

Anyone know where to find pics of all the Specialty Spares set-ups? They only have two on their site. Is it just me or do they seem a bit too square-ish? Anyone yet know if the SE headers/mufflers are interchangeable with previous Bonnevilles?
