can owners of the triumph fabric bags chime in please!!!
ok, quick question. does anyone who owns these panniers have them on with predators? or does anyone flat out know if there's an issue with these bags sitting on the ever so slightly higher preds??
also, can someone who owns these take a dead on side profile shot for me? i want to see exactly how far back they ride, because with my FEK my turn signals fall reight below the butt end of my seat, and i need to make sure they won't get in the way of these bags.
thanks everyone!!!

You won't have any issues riding two up with the soft pannier. I've never had Predators on my ride, so I'm not certain about any clearance issues.

As Buckeye suggested, no two-up issues that I can see either.
I've got them/like them. If no one responds, I'll take a dead-on profile shot tonight.

Here's the best picture I have. If you click on the picture you'll get an even bigger version of it. I'm heading out of town soon but if you still want a closeup next Tuesday PM me and I'll snap a couple.
Don't know about predators, I run TORs.
I like these bags and they are generally big enough. But, I can't fit a 8x11 pad of paper in there or a laptop notebook which makes them non-optimal when I'm heading to a meeting. But I can strap those things to the seat when I have to.

Here's one answer....
Vegas -
Found this as a possible answer to your question regarding the clearance.
http://www.triumphrat.net/twins-talk...ml#post1249672
Halfway down Prop mentions he has preds and the leather city bags with no clearance issues. ALSO mentions he has the fabric panniers and there are no problems. Hope that helps
Cheers

alright here's a close up of my bike's butt end. by the pics you guys have posted, i don't think the predators will be an issue. i'm concerned about the turn signals though since they're right under my seat, i'm wondering if theyll make the install an issue at all.
also, these bags do come with the luggage racks right? those racks, they attach to the top of the shock bolt, and the bolt that holds the passanger peg on?
thanks again fellas!

Correct - I might add, pretty sturdy as well (the exposed part by the upper shock is handy centerstand hoist). There are two straps on the back of the bags (upper and lower) that attach to the brackets. I got mine from British Customs - because of their proximity, got them mighty quick.
