Think I'm almost satisfied..if possible *pics*

I think I may be nearing completion as far as mods are concerned. The only things I still really want to do are simple stuff anyway; progressive fork springs etc....

Anyway, here was the Murdercycle the day I rescued it from some old duffer:

And here it is in it's current state:

Here is the down and dirty:

replaced the stock bars with "M-bars"
gutted the airbox, rejetted the carbs and threw on some K&N's
added an aftermarket mini-tach
added a Dart flyscreen
painted the rims, hubs and spokes black
put on some semi aggressive Metzeler Tourance tires
chopped the rear fender down
painted the headlight bucket black
painted the carb caps and bowls black
ditched the chain guard
added some fork gaiters
removed the stock mirrors and fabbed one into a bar end mirror
replaced Triumph TOR pipes with D&D's wich I later ceramic coated black (and wrapped the headers)
added the stainless seam along the top of the tank
added the old school "pedestrian slicer" plate

Last seasons "model" can be viewed in my signature link.

See you guys at the Brit bike show in Mass this weekend,

-Jed

Splendid transformation indeed. The old duffer would shocked if he saw - probably slip into cardiac arrest, LOL!

Its very rewarding making something your own.

How do you find the Metzeler Tourance tyres?

Good job mate!

Looks much more agressive and less postcardish....

Very nice transformation!! You made it your own. From sedate touring motorcycle to a rockin' machine that announces itself.

This motor-scooter won't get lost in the crowd.

Beautiful bike! Kudos! What's the fat-fendered business coupe in the background? A Plymouth?
