Thunderbird Touring

After seeing that hard panniers would not be available for the Thunderbird .I wrote to Triumph suggesting they should be .These would over more in the way of security .Triumph offer a touring version of the Rocket so why don't you do a Thunderbird tourer with hard panniers ,screen etc .They said there was no plans for such a model at this time .I for one would be amazed if Triumph were to produe only one model using there new 1600cc engine .Looking thro there range there are at least 2 or 3 bikes per engine type .It will be interesting to see what other bikes Triumph will produce in the future using this new power plant .

Yes , me too - hard QD cases like my 955 Sprint ST would be grand, 35litre, and mid-mount footrests. Dump the tank speedo and that tiny rev-counter and put them up front, some silencers with a bit of a bark to them and that'll do me. Trouble is I want one now....
