He's done a nice job eh?!
Here's some more:
Triumph Guy 218 wrote me and said that:
This is a 2008 Bonneville T-100. The rear subframe was eliminated and I had a new "wishbone" shaped frame bent and welded.
The seat is from Chopper Shox, it has gas charged/coil over shocks to provide a somewhat decent ride.
The new subframe/ swingarm assembly are a bolt-on configuration to allow for maintenance or drivetrain removal should it ever be necessary.
All of the work( including some of the heliarc welding) was done in my living room over the past 5 months. The winter here is long ....and yes I am not married....the drivetrain is stock with the only exception being a re-jet of the carbs due to the single air filters. The battery is located in a box welded below the swingarm in front of the tire. The clutch is now hand operated via a left side handle.

That would take some getting used to. I guess you don't shift in corners. Does that bike do corners?

That is just f-ing cool.
Haggis...is that seat a one off do you know?
I'd like to build the same bike without the suicide shifter but don't think my
back could take a rigid.
Love it,
George

A pair of togas or sleepers would look FABBO on that bike, with sound to match!

You'll have to ask TG 218!
BTW Pokeyjoe - re: 3-7-77 - are you banished from Montana?
