coming out of the closet with your silver bonnie

I understand there has been a recent scientific study, which is about to be released, which proves that the silver bonnie is actually the fastest of the pack. This busts the myth that the black bonnies in all their variations hold this honour (not that there's anything wrong with owning a black bonnie). Seems it has something to do with the surface of the colour and the molecules of the atmosphere surrounding the bike. Apparently the more silver you have on the bike the faster it goes. This generally includes chrome by the way. However, there is a critical point where too much chrome will actually slow the bike down again. So, all you silver bonnie owners should come out of the closet and be proud. You should be ashamed no more and celebrate the fact that you have the fastest bonnie of the pack. But remember, with greatness comes responsibility. Be kind to our brothers and sisters who have black bonnies. Make them feel welcome and invite them to join in with you. Remember, without a runner-up, you could never have a winner .

Hmmm..., not sure if proud is he word I'd use, but I sure like the bike. After twenty-five years of black or mostly black motorcycles, I'm rather partial to this silver job!

I've never had a good look at a silver Bonnie, they are usually way away in my rear view mirror for some reason. :

Just kidding of course.

They're not fast enough to make it into my rear view mirror vision!

Boom! Tsshhhhhhh!

Sorry - kidding. I really like the silver ones, I think they look classy.

Bonnie Sunshine I really like what you've done with yours, the whole arrangement is very slick. I particularly like the gauge cups, and the single seat / grabrail suits it too.

Hey Prop, of course you're right, you'd never see a silver bonnie in your rear vision mirror. To you it would appear as a silver flash as it streaks past you. Look out for it next time, keep those eyes peeled, just don't blink

remember the less friction is offset by the extra weight as silver paint has metallic particles that add to the weight of the bike and actually slow it down...the weight of extra chrome almost stops them..
