Remove Rear Turn Signal Stems?
Started to replace the license plate bracket on my America with a new chrome one... Could not get the *#$%! rear turn signal stem nuts to loosen! Removed the stock bracket thinking I would simply loosen the nuts on the inside of the bracket, and swap the turn signals to the new chrome bracket... Piece of cake, right?
The whole chrome stem just twisted in the OEM bracket no matter how I tried to hold the stem from turning!!! Tried holding the turn signal every way imaginable and even using a large screwdriver in the slot on the inside of the threaded end of the turn signal stem..... Anybody have some insight on how to get them loose, so I can install my new chrome bracket? I must be overlooking something here, it shouldn't be this difficult I'm sure.......
