I'm in Arizona visiting a good friend. Yesterday we decided to visit the Confederate Air Force (original name) site in the Mesa,Arizona area. While viewing some of the outside exhibits, we came across this very nice vintage Triumph. Logo on sidecovers states "Triumph Trophy 650".

What a sweet, light motorcycle. I believe these bikes weighed in at slightly less than 400 pounds.

Do some of you guys know the model year? Better yet, is she owned by someone on the Rat forum?

Right hand shift, oil in frame 650 without disk brakes. My guess is 1971. Possibly an early '72. Not mine, but I wish it was!

is also a '71, but the tank doesn't look quite right for a 71. Looks better than a 71's to me, maybe it's the paint job baffling my eyes...
