New 09 Speedmaster

Well, just pulled the trigger on a new Speedy. Has to be ordered and should be here in 1-2 weeks.
Thanks to info here, going with BC bomber pipes, center stand, progressive fork springs, 19t sprocket, 418 HD progressive rear springs, and 2" risers to pull the bars back.
Was going to get the ARK, but according to the dealer, British Customs is still working on a map for the Speedy ECU and recommended holding off for now. Going to run the Triumph TOR map.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for all of the info and can't wait join everyone else on the road.

Well done that man!

We look forward to seeing pics of your lovely new ride! Nice one!

You might want to shoot Sean at British Customs a PM, or give him a call. He is very helpful, and can give you the low down on anything relating to stuff like ARK kits and remaps for your bike, based on their stuff. They are a good vendor. You can PM him at BC-twins.

Well done again!

Congrats, I'm sure you'll love it. I've had mine for about a week and a half and it gets better every day. I'll be interested to see how you like your pipes, I want to get some soon but I'd like to hear some first. Dumb question...do you lose the side stand with a center stand?

To the best of my knowledge, you do not lose the sidestand with the centerstand.

The main reason I got it was to make any future mods/maintenance easier.

I will probably get new rear shocks soon, too. Looking at progressive 418 HD.

Are you going with the black BC Bombers?

Considering it for my Speedy, let us know how they sound.

Thought about going black and wrapping the headers, but I ended up being a conformist and stayed with polished. Can always get them ceramic coated or sell them and get the black ones later.

By the way ordered a new Bonneville Olympia jacket from revzilla. Got here in 2 days and I am very impressed with it. Can't wait to actually ride with it. Was looking at the airglide and saw the Bonneville on their site and just thought, wow, there's my jacket.
