Winter Scrambler Mods

I really didn't think I had done very much the last month or so, but it all adds up. I have added:
- WS650 handlebars (powder-coated black)
- Cibie 7" Euro headlight in an Emgo bucket (LSL brackets)
- Black metal front brake fluid reservoir
- Thruxton pre-load adjusters for the forks
- EBC floating front disc
- Removed right mirror

The most rewarding mods to date have been the handlebars (more pull-back - much more relaxed) and the lights. Its nice to be able to see and to be seen.

Looks fantastic! The Bars and headlight really set it off well. Cool!

Very nice!

Could you please post up the PN's needed to add the pre-load adjusters? When I asked the dealer fo this he told me I would have to replace the entire fork. When I told him I thought it could be done he got a bit up tight. End of discussion!

I just ordered them from Bike Bandit using their diagrams.
Adjustable Preload Caps - 5569299-001
Flat washer that goes on top of the spring - 5569304-001
I shortened the stock spacer by one inch.

It is indeed, a large amount of my own stuff has been inspired by him.

The rest has been inspired by others on this site. None of my work is original - which is likely why it will work out

I stand on the shoulders of giants, and that is one of the great things about this forum!

Looks like you also replaced the factory instrument cluster. Nice, as I'm not a fan of the factory cluster, but I have a question: Does your new, smaller speedo have all the lights (neutral, oil, high beam, turn signal) that the old cluster did or do you just do without them?

I'd like to add a tach to mine but I'm not crazy about the Triumph factory tach that sticks down below the current cluster and interferes with a tank bag.

Does anyone know of another tach that would fit? I wouldn't neccessarily be averse to replacing the whole instrument cluster except that I imagine that would be quite expensive.

The light mod is great. The Triumph factory light is pathetic. A 7" light would work much better and still preserve the looks of the bike.

Noticed you also replaced the turn signals. Those are LEDs I presume?

Very nice job overall. I'm pretty happy with the factory bars but then again I'm fairly tall and have long arms so the longer reach doesn't bother me.
