Okay so I got the Eyebrow badges, but the paint varies from bike to bike. Currently, the lettering is black with white around it and silver/chrome background. I've seen several original 1960's bikes with the background white. Which is correct? Any idea? I'm tempted to paint the background to white just because it looks more authentic.

Best go to a bookstore and get a history of Triumph book..... I have no idea what is right. Mine are on a black base with black centers and the raised lettering is the chrome.
