I just got back from the movie about 20 minutes ago and yes, that blue Triumph is a beauty and it gets a good 10-15 minutes of airtime.
It appears in the movie around 1957 to 58 then stays into the 60's.
I couldn't pin the model down but its authentic and not a Indian Jones Harley with disc brakes.

It's a very story/character driven movie that is almost 3 hours long and I really enjoyed it. It was worth going to the theater for in my opinion.

I saw a still picture from the movie of Brad and Kate B. on the Triumph, and it sure looked like a blue Thunderbird, not a Bonneville. If it was supposed to be 1957 or so, that would be more appropriate, too, since the Bonneville was not around until '59. Still a great motorcycle. I would love to have a vintage T-bird.

Not a movie shot but here's Brad on a Bonnie.

X, you were pretty ready with that pic of Mr. Pitt. Got a stash of pics of hot dudes on bikes, or are you using the old lady's computer?

The movie is decent and a very good example of magical realism. I liked it for the character flow, both how they evolved and how they remained predictable. It was filmed largely in New Orleans from what I could tell.
Another bike in the movie, I think, was a HD Knucklehead.

Anyone that knows how to use Google can find whatever they're looking for pretty quickly.
