Thumbs up FYI - EFI Custom Map Theory

For those interested in EFI tuning theory, the Fall, 2009 issue of Engine Masters magazine starts a new series on practical EFI tuning techniques. I've learned a lot from the previous series on EFI concepts by the same author. This first installment deals primarily with starting and idling issues, which frequently plague motorcycle EFI.

Engine Masters currently isn't available via subscription, only on the newsstand. It is published quarterly and Barnes and Noble carry it.

D@mn. The course is in NSW & I'm in QLD.

But I've purchased and started reading both those books and learning lots - so far mostly about how important the airflow is and how modifying/eliminating the airbox is unlikely to produce better results unless you really really really know what you are doing. Minimizing turbulence in the airbox and velocity stacks is a priority so maybe adding the bellmouth on the airbox is an improvement.
