Eagle Screens Review...

Re: Eagle Screens (AU) 24" Extended Touring model screen
First impressions: very good!
Comment / dribble:
As the the majority of folks on these Trophy forums are keenly aware, the buffeting caused by the stock windscreen can be abominable. Especially for those of taller stature. Many have good luck with Clear View products. I know that function should prevail over form but personally, I prefer the lines of the Eagle Screen products. The install was good and straight forward. With both my wife and I aboard, we jumped on the freeway and cruised about ten miles at 75-85 mph before stopping to compare notes before returning at, shall we say, a 'more spirited pace'. She said the prior buffeting is gone (!) although there is some residual wind noise. Ditto for me. Overall, I am very satisfied...seriously about an 8.5-9.0 out of 10. And Eagle Screens were great to do business with.
Cheers!
-Galen

That looks great! How much taller is it than the stock screen? I am 6'3" and get a fair amount of wind if I sit up normally. Just a small "duck" and it goes away.

Its rather hard to offer a precise measurement due to the difference in shape between the stock screen and the Eagle screen. The stock screen is probably 3 or 4 inches shorter but the top edge is further away from the rider's head and rather more curved (with a gentle 'flip' upward). The Eagle screen top edge extends further rearward, terminating higher, but somewhat closer to the rider's head with less curve (flatter) across the top. I'm 6'1" and found the stock screen buffeting horrendous and, like BlueTrophy, could negate the buffetting with a 'duck' down. This Eagle screen all but eliminated the buffeting leaving nominal/normal wind noise.
