My clearview should be here in the next couple days, i cannot wait to try it out....i am sick of the heavy metal headbanging buffeting with the stock windscreen! Tryed the laminar lip, it worked like 10% of the time for me...
Well the story on the clearview is, the first one didn't fit, we thought i had the upgraded fairing on my 98 but i didnt so the holes didnt line up so i had to send it back for an exchange and i also sent back my factory screen so i have been doing ZERO riding on my triumph. But...when i get it i will post the pics and details....
BTW Chad if anyone should be riding that long ride to or from Texas it should be you meeting me in Iowa to go to the Black Hills in July!
You should just fly down here in June when you have the time off and we'll go to the Austin Rally. I can line up BMW tourer to do some riding through the hill county....
BTW, I'll probably be in Israel in July by the way it sounds.
as long as it is a gs1200, i would love to try one of those out, i think that might be my next bike when my triumph takes a poop.....which will probally be a long time the way it has been going so nice! knock on wood!!
Ramsey 1200; what model Laminar Lip did you try ? I am about to order the touring for my 2001 model bike. The screen on this model is good but I am tall and I need something extra. Purchased the Clearview but not impressed at looking through the screen so looking at the Laminar for chance to solve the helmet problems of buffeting and noise. I wear ear plugs which certainly reduces noise but a day of head buffeting trends to wear a rider out and takes the pleasure of riding a great bike.
