Unhappy Air Box nuts and bolts HELP

I have just unscrewed one of the two bolts on the right side of the air box that hold it together. Reason to attach a small bracket. Now the problem is i heard a nut fall in the air box. Question is how do i remove it. Or do i leave it there. The way i see it is from the bottom of the carb to the bottom of the air box is quite a large drop so should be safe. What do you guys think. Well, you have to pull the carbs to get the air box off. The nut you heard fall is probably the brass nut that the screw go's into. It's probably between the filter and the carbs. I don't know about you, but I think I would pull the box and open it up and get it out. A good bump could bounce it up into a carb.

My 3 cents worth.

I agree with ERV...sorry.

Your only hope is to try and fish it out were the breather hose connects.

Hi Tony

just a thought you said the bolts were on the side of the air box, is this the two bolts under the side panel on the mid section of the air inlet boxes and not the screws on the air filter box itself.

if so one bolt goes itno the battery box I think and the other just in front and both nuts are behind the tubes not inside them. Ill check my bike tommorow
