Brake Light Wiring

Can anyone help translate the brake light wiring for a '98 Trophy? I'm attaching a basic aftermarket LED light on a topbox (LED has two wires, red and black) and need to know which of the three brake light wires are the constant, brake, and ground.

I can certainly go about this with trial and error, but figured I'd hit the forum first.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know about the '98, but on my '01 the lights all have connectors. I just unplugged it with the running lights turned on and used a voltmeter to see which was which.

Harbor Freight has test lights for around 3 bucks.

On the '02 the colours are:
Black: Ground
Red/Black: Tail lights
Green/Blue: Brake lights.
