Has anyone converted their bulbs over to LED? I am considering doing so , as I understand they draw a lot less amperage. This said the obvious would lighten the load on the alt. I this a correct thought?
Coupled to this train of though... I am also considering adding a set of driving light to the bike. What are the experiences with this? HID systems?

I installed a fuse block on my T-100 and connected LED running lights to it. The principle is the same on all bikes.

To replace front and rear turn signal bulbs with LED's either by an LED replacement bulb with a built in compensator for the reduced power requirement or add one to each bulb wire.

The running lights I installed are very bright and use minute amperage. I am waiting for bulb replacement prices to come down a bit because I want the built in compensator.
