I have a 2002 Trophy 1200 which I purchased used on ebay. recently It has developed a loud squeak in the rear suspension. I have greased every fitting I can find and wd40'd the entire rear end but the squeak persists. Anybody have any advice?

Just saw your post--Weve had 2 or 3 Trophy 1200s come into our shop (Manayunk Triumph) that have had this problem. Seems that the holes in the shock spindle riding in the drag link sometimes get clogged and the grease cant get out to lube the surface of the spindle resulting in the squeak. To correct this, the spindle needs to be removed and cleaned etc, etc...Buzz

Many thanks for the reply. Are you talking about the linkage spindle The one that goes through the bottom of the shock?
