My knob is blown out on my fuel tap. Will do the ole epoxy trick for now. Where can I get just the knob? The dealer wants to sell me the whole tap assy for $100. Thanks

The dealer is not playing nice. You can order just the black knob because I've done it a couple of times until I found out about the epoxy trick.

You can get a new one from the dealer, I just checked with Breeze Cycle in Omaha, $9.44.

This is a timely topic. I just broke my 3rd knob and this one was epoxied. How many people would be interested in billet or stainless knobs if I could get them made for under $30?

Thanks

Thanks you guys. Just did the epoxy bit. The dealer I referred to has an awful rep in town. Guess thaye figure they are the only game in town. Perhaps they've not heard of the phone or internet. I also located one on bike bandit. I would be very interested in a metal knob. Guess I have no real preference billet or stainless. I think stainless would require less upkeep ...right? Thanks again you guys.

Instead of billet aluminum, you may want to try high density plastic or nylon. I've used it for a number of custom parts, not all bike related. It's easy to mill, finish, is self lubricating and comes in a variety of colors to include black.
