ignition pick up sensor

Now that the screws are out, does anyone know if you just cut the little wires to get the sensor free and clear of the motor?

Thanks
Steve

brg1200,
NOOO!!!!!!! DON"T CUT THE WIRES!!!!! Follow the wires up appx 12" or more and you will come to a plug. Kind of a PITA to get to, but better than cutting and splicing(inviting more probs later). Oh, and the little rubber seal that the wires pass thru just pulls out with the wires(use a small dab of sillicone to re-seal).

Thanks again. I guess I didn't see the little rubber plug.
