Yes, I fitted the Symtec grip heaters. The hardest part is getting the grips off (and that's fairly easy). Wiring instructions are included and it's all straight forward stuff.I wired mine so that the live feed is taken from the wire that goes from the ignition switch to the lights. That way they will only operate when the ignition is switched on ( to avoid the dreaded flat battery ).Your bike wiring may, of course, be different.
I went for the plastic switch option, which is very small and difficult to operate with thick gloves. I imagine the toggle switch would be easier to use.
I have never needed to use the high setting; they have always been hot enough for me.
I decided that, for the money, they were worth taking a chance on and I'm glad I did.
