The guys over on the COG forums are buying up these quickly! They say that when you check out, they are charging you the medium size price for the large trunk. They say at checkout on the site that the large one rings up at $47.99. You sure can't go wrong at that price!

Thanks for all the info. Lots of pics with boxes mounted would be nice. My local dealer is looking into the factory box for me. I am trying that route first, then looking at all suggestions here. Thanks for all.

Triumph no longer has any stock on the Trophy OEM Top Box.

So, I have decided to go with the GIVI Top box. I ordered a mounting kit from Jack Lilly in England for the Trophy and am now trying to decide on which Top Box to order. I like both the 46 liter and 52 liter(with the 52 coming in first.) I just do not know if the 52 liter will be too big for the bike. Looks wise and safety/handling wise? I like the 46's looks and the fact that I can take the cover off and take to have painted to match bike.(I will probably just order the flat black in either.) But, I like the fact that the 52 liter will handle lots of goodys.(I am taking a trip to CO this summer.) Decisions, Decisions?

I would appreciate any Trophy owners who have mounted a Givi Top Box to post pics, so I can better decide which box to buy. Also, your opinions are appreciated on the above concerns.

52 liter is the only way to go! This way you won't regret not getting the bigger one later. This is what I hear most of the time from people buying trunks. I have already posted a link to mine on this thread. I like the factory trunk, but the givi is better quality.

I'm sorry, I forgot you posted a link for your bike. Looks good. I also found some pics of a Sunset Red Trophy just like mine in the members albums with Givi installed.

So you don't think the 52 is too big? Notice any difference in handling on highway or twisties? I am all for the bigger trunk, just want to be safe too.

BTW-Love your seat. Is it comfy, how much, and how long to get?

You do know the trunk is on there. It's not going to be any worse than the factory trunk, only 2 liters difference.

Seat is stock, sent to Spencer's! He does a great job on getting the slope from front to rear more vertical so that it doesn't push you too far forward. He put flex gel in and put original cover back on for like $60 or very close to it. He tries very hard to turn the seat around and get it going back to you in 24 hours. Site is greatdaytoride.com

I was under the impression that the oem trunk was around 36 liters. 36 liters to 52 liters is a huge difference. If I have gotten some wrong info forgive me, but if there is that big of a difference in size I would think that there would be some affect on handling. I hope I am wrong. Don't get me wrong I am still leaning toward the 52 liter Givi.

Moto, thank for all your comments.

I called Hermy's today to see about the size listed of the trunk. All I could find for a part number was one for a sprint, but looks identical to my color matched trunk. He said it was 45 liters, but I could have sworn that I got the 50 liter information from this site or the yahoo group one. Can't find it now! I know that mine will hold 2 XXL helmets side by side. As I said, you can tell the trunk is on there, especially if it's loaded heavy. I much prefer to ride without it after getting to my destination.

Thanks for all the info Moto. Iam going to order 52 this week. Also, sending seat to your guy in FL. Looks like a great deal.

I will post pics when I get Top Box mounted.
