Is there a better place than not to get juice for a GPS........?

I used the accessory plug under the right side fairing. Mine is a 1998 1200. Seems to work fine. It does not turn off when you turn off the key though.

For accessories I spliced into the small "running light" at the base of the headlight.

I have mine from the battery, up under the tank. My RAM mount is on the top yolk (triple tree). I have removed the plastic yolk cover and tapped a 8mm thread into the hole there in the middle, then fastened the RAM ball mount to it, perfect;o)
