Still looking for a replacement seat for my 2000 Trophy. Sargent sells a 1999-2004 Sprint St seat, seems I heard somewhere the ST seat fits the Trophy. True/False?

Tropheo, Google Corbin seats. They make a great looking seat. I believe its about $300, but the piping can be color matched to your bike. If you don't have a top box, the seat has an optional backrest for the passenger.

I'm pretty sure that the Sprint ST seat won't fit your bike. The aftermarket lists the Sprint/Trophy seats and Sprint ST seats seperately.

Sargent will custom build anything you want on your seat pan for less than a Corbin. If you don't want to cut up your current seat, watch ebay, they sell fairly cheap there. I bought one for $35.

AVOID CORBIN. Corbin sucks. Corbin customer service sucks. Their seats are really heavy anyway. I had an issue with Corbin and they didn't return my calls, they didn't credit my card for a month after I returned the product, I had to get the credit card company involved. They were waiting for for my credit card complaint time period to expire so they could keep my money. If you complain AT ALL they become vindictive.

The Trophy seat will fit a Srpint, but it's not the ST Sprint. The Exec and the 96-98 standard Sprint 900's only.

Buy the seat offered. Figure out how you want it modified. Contact Sargent Cycleworks and discuss the mods desired with them. Send them the seat. Try it when they return it for several hundred miles. Have them tweak it if necessary. Sell the other seat when you're satisfied.

Enjoy!
