They have a permanent live plug, but nothing is connected to it. It is under the front right (as you sit on the bike) fairing, have mooch about in that area and you will find it, trace the wires from the back of the fusebox! Triumph will do a socket that fits this plug, but it might need you to remortgage;o)
I have fitted a plug for my heated jacket, but I have taken it from the battery, if you do this put a inline fuse as near to the battery as possible.
I got the plugs and sockets from here Plugs and sockets
you will need the 'DIN' plugs and sockets, same as fitted to BMW's, a better connection than *** lighter sockets :-D

Triumph have provided the connection for an accessory socket which is fused via the fuse box (10A). The connector is black and lives in the cockpit fairing area in front of the fuse box and under the headlights. You should be able to feel for it in the small air intake recess in the fairing (in front of the right hand indicator).

Blue wire is 12v +ve and Black wire is 12v -ve

However, you will need to remove the fairing chin plate under the headlight (black cover) to connect into it. I cut off the connector and crimped inline bullet type connectors onto the cables to connect into my accessory socket mounted in the right hand side glove box (fitted to the rear side so that the fuse box cover can easily be removed) so that it is out of direct rain.
