I had a mishap with my side luggage recently when it became detached and proceeded to skid down the road. I replaced the outer pannier which is the painted part of the luggage at a cost of $200 which was much cheaper than having body work done on the scratched up one. My question is the oval Triumph logo on the old pannier needs to come off and placed on the new one because despite the cost it comes without the logo. Does anyone having any glue or other adhesion suggestions. My dealer says the original came with a sticky 2 sided tape. Any ideas?

When I replaced mine I used crazy glue in gel form. I first cleaned off the old residue from the back of the emblem and used alcohol to clean the spot on the pannier. I then spread the crazy glue around being careful not to get it too close the the edges so that it could squeeze out. I used a tweezers to place the emblem in the right spot and pressed.

Worked great.

The actual replacement emblems aren't too costly.

But I have found that PVC cement (for gluing plastic plumbing pipe) works great for repairs on Triumph plastic pieces (like those stupid turn signals!)

Go to your local automotive store and purchase some 3M Automotive Trim Adhesive. It's a double sided tape that is lightly gooey-

It won't come off, trust me!

I appreciate the replies. I got some of the 3M trim adhesive but didn't like how the thickness would keep the oval logo from being near flush with the pannier. I ended up getting some advanced formula Krazy Glue which can be used on plastic. It worked fine.
Good riding always,
