Heading to Seattle today, which is about 300 miles from home.It will be the last long ride of the year for the Trophy,as the riding season here is about to come to an abrupt halt.I'm gonna be attending the Roger Waters concert. The first set will be Roger Waters stuff and the second set will be the ENTIRE Dark Side of The Moon album start to finish with a light show. It's supposed to be in the mid 60's today and tomorrow, then turn to ****e.If we get a good riding day here and there through out the winter I'll hop on my Speed Triple, but the Trophy is going to bed for the winter.Another year of TROUBLE FREE riding. This is one dependable, fun, kickass bike.

I'm lucky enough not to have to put the Trophy to bed, but, not lucky enough to come and see Roger Waters. Let us know how the concert goes.

The concert was as good as it gets, and I've been to hundreds over the last 35 years or so.The sound was fantastic,as were the visuals. The guy puts on a hell of a show.As for the ride, perfect weather over on Thurs, and back on Fri.67 degrees not a cloud in the sky and no wind.Yesterday,68 degrees a few clouds, put 156 miles on the Speed Triple.Today they're calling for a high of 51 with showers, the rest of the week highs in the low 50's and high 40's.The riding season up here is mid May to mid Oct usually. You probably get to ride most of the winter down there, but I don't envy the extreme heat you get in the summer.

I love my Trophy!
I would LOVE to have a Thruxton.
I'm TRYING to justify buying an 07' Tiger.

Living where you live, you may want to check out a KLR.
I KNOW they are ugly. I KNOW they are tall and don't have any horsepower.

Here's what else I know...If Triumph made anything like it, I'd buy it. They are REALLY fun to ride. They get 50+mpg. Nobody wants to steal one. You can drop it, pick it up, laugh, and ride. In short...you can ride this thing around the world, with NO worries.

Cheers,
Tom.
