hello, not normally in here but i thought you guys probably do more miles so might know. has anyone made the shim tool from the downloads section and if so did it work ok? is the shape of the little cube that sits on the bucket to hold it down critical? ive made one not tryed it yet, the cube i made is in mild steel do you think this will be to hard and mark the buckets? thank you in advance for any help

I have been been using the factory tool. The shape and position of the cube or leg is fairly critical. You need to be able to hold the bucket down and still get the shim out and there is only a small rim on the bucket to accomplish this. Your mild steel tool should be fine as the bucket material is much harder so you shouldn't raise a burr. The factory tool appears to be black oxide coated mild steel.
