I have hydraulic fluid leaking from the clutch slave cylinder on my recently purhased '97 Trophy 900. Anyone have any first-hand knowledge of rebuilding one of these? Are parts serviced or do I need to buy a new assy.? Ball-park on the parts price(s)? I have a Haynes service manual on order but thought I would pick your brains first. Bike saw little use over the last few years, only has 8K, probably has moisture in the system or dried out seals. Any input would be appreciated. (I'll be flushing out the brake syatem, too) Thanks!.........MPLATT :???:

MPLATT, I haven't done it before, but I looked in the sevice manual and it looks to be a fairly easy, straight-forward affair. There are only three pieces inside the slave cylinder, a spring, seal, and dust cover. All the parts are serviced so you should only have to buy what you need. Good luck with it and hope you are back on the road soon.
