Collected the bike last night and now 1" lower and all I can say is that Triumph should have built the bike at this height. I am 5'11" in height with 32" inseam and feet now sit flat on the pavement and no longer a balancing act to keep it upright when parking or moving around while seated on the bike. If riding with passenger mechanic would suggest increasing preload 1 position and he had to fit 1/4" spacer washers to allow the inner guard and chain guard to have about 12mm / 1/2" clearence. Tried some semi spirited riding and no parts scraping at this time. Kickstand angle and length did not have to be modified and bike sits at just the right amount of lean to make it easy to swing up into the riding position. A bit difficult to get up onto the center stand but can be done. Bike looks lower and compact. :-D

How did you lower it? My Trophy is about the right height for me, but I'm curious :???:

Rotated the rear concentric 180 and then installed spacers washers to allow inner guard and chain guard to have clearence and then slid the front forks up in the tree to the same amount as the rear dropped.Took about 2 hours. Went out for a run this morning and bike performs as well as it ever did.

My '99 1200 with a Corbin seat fits my 31" inseam fine, my feet are flat on the ground. I wonder if there is a difference in the '99, or if the bike was lowered before I got it, or it's the Corbin.

My parking lot at work has a fall of about 1ft in 10ft and bike stood up with very slight lean on the uphill and about the old normal lean on the downhill.

when i chopped the Tigers stand it seemed pretty good till we were out riding and at more than one halt I was a little nervous to say the least. took another dollop off just to make sure.

perhaps the trophy stand is more splayed as per norm.

I think you are right about the more splayed as I was surprised how well it worked after the bike was lowered. Maybe supporting all that weight in the past has bent the bloody thing.
