Hi Bill

Where is this Wednesday night bike party? Is it near Asheville, NC? LegendGirl and I will be in Asheville on Wednesday, June 9 th, on our trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway. Let us know what's going on!

Every Wednesday nite they have one at the Hooters in Greenville - that's about 100 miles south of Asheville. I understand that there is a bike night at all the Hooters on Wednesdays.

LAST TIME I WENT PAST THE VENUE IT LOOKED LIKE THE HOOTERS NIGHT WAS ONLY FOR THE "REAL" MEN WHO RIDE THOSE "MUST BE SEEN ON" VIBRATING V-TWINS AND THERE WERE ONLY SAW A FEW SPORTS BIKES AND A COUPLE OF GOLDWINGS. MUCH LIKE LAKE LURE ON A SUNDAY.

Sorry to hear about that!!! I've never gone but thought it might be a good place to ride to on a Wednesday night.

Besides, it might be refreshing for them to see what a REAL bike looks like.

I went by there last night after taking my wife to dinner at the Olive Garden and although there were a lot of V-twins, there were an awful lot of sport bikes and Goldwings too. I would say that the mixture was about 60% cruisers and 40% all others. Not a bad mix considering the popularity of HD's down here.

Anyone interested in showing a Triumph contingency next week?

With that mix of bikes it sounds like riders in Greenville now recognize that there are other styles of bikes that are enjoyable to own and ride without the need to make a lot of noise.
I will certainly try to be around next wednesday night to take a look.

Went last night and met up with Netmaker. More and more sport bikes showing up, the HD were still the majority but a good mix of others as well. There were only 3 Triumphs - Netmaker's, mine, and someone else! Come on RATs - next Wednesday maybe??
