Hey,
Heres one for all you smart people out there.
When i turned the ignition on the bike, the horn(s) came on too and would not go off. I have had to disconnect them. The switch is fine, i guess there must be a short in the wiring unless anyone knows better...

If the horns are on a relay, that may be the culprit. Also, if the switch completes the ground circuit for the horns or relay (if fitted), there may be a short or "new" ground causing the problem.

The older I get, the faster I was....until lately!! (Speed IS the fountain of youth)!

I had the very same fault with my '91 Trophy. The horn switch on the handlebars had fallen apart leaving a permanent contact as soon as the ignition was turned on.
I made a new pin for the horn button and this allowed the switch to pivot and rest in the correct position when not depressed. :hammer:
