I had to re route a couple but no new ones required. I had the advantage that I wanted the hand grips position to swivel in closer towards the rider position, hence the angle adjustment ability, and this helped with the cable length issue and there is no fouling when turning at full lock in the parking lot.

12004 Im sorry but your message really made me chuckle, you said your eyes aren't so good then you say you read your map as you ride lol, only then did I realise that of course you are in the states on those long roads.
I could well imagine doing that over here in the uk ,we are all jostling for space and to take your eye off the ball here would end in disaster.
How different it must be over there, plus the sunshine, why Im almost tempted to come and take a look.

The goods
I have the following:
Corbin seat,Gen-Mar risers,Hyper Lites flashing LED brake lights(supplemental to the stockers)thick wall hoses for fuel and vacuum, heated grips, top box,2" inch overstock Clearview shield.Pirelli Diablo Stradas and a powerlet plug above my left knee.
I have looked at the previous generation Tiger hand guards, they look as if they may fit, using the mirror mount holes in the in the switchgear assembly! But have as of yet tried it!

Well, I'll chime in on this. I certainly don't have all the cool do- dads like some, but what I have serves me well.
I have late model Bonne' grips as they are larger diameter.
Large clearview screen
Corbin seat
these have worked great riding year round on two continents now. I exclusivley ride the Trophy as I own no car. I am considering a GPS, but hell stopping and consulting maps with locals is kind of fun. Other than the above the bike is stock. why change a good thing?

I do love this bike and it's great to see all the mods that others have done.
This is what started as a "minor" make-over to my '97 Burgundy 1200:
Daytona 1200 engine (128rwhp)
K&N Filter + rejetted
Wolf/Trident pipes
Graphite Grey paint from the last of the line '02 - '04 version
11 hole top fairing from an '02 with 12" Clearview screen
Triumph Gel seat
Triumph heated grips
Triumph fork guards
Triumph feet air deflectors
Triumph top box and panniers
Hagon fork springs
Hagon shock absorber with remote pre-load adjuster
Six pot Hayabusa callipers
Daytona side stand (slightly longer)
Auxiliary power socket just below the left hand glove box
Oakley talking alarm - "Attention! This Triumph Motorcycle is being stolen!"
Baglux tank cover and bag
She now covers distances well, handles, stops and goes. The only down side is 35mpg if I take it easy.

Erv, How do you make your idiot lights brighter? My list is short but effective. Corbin seat, Gen-mars, fork protectors and the best for last is my Staintune cans. These change the whole dynamics of this bike. Man what a difference in sound and performance.
