HI, still looking at a Trophy; I am short and my inseam is only about 29-30 MAX! Do they make any dogbones or lowering links for the trophy? I had GMDComputrack do my last bike and it IS GREAT but $$$$$$$; after market Penske shock, etc. Dogdoc

if memory serves me correctly the trophy has the same type of rear swing arm as the Tiger. You can drop the tiger by rotating the rear concentric by 180 degrees and dropping the front by the same amount. On the Tiger this does not affect the handling but you then need to chop the sidestand to compensate.

ask the dealer if this is possible.

Then you've got the problem of the centerstand being too tall as well. I'm in the same boat with a 29" inseam but a custom saddle and thick soled boots (along with extra soles added to my other riding boots) have pretty much solved the problem. My cobbler said that he's done a lot of the boot/sole work lately, so I guess that we're not all that unusual as far as the "vertical challengement" issue goes.

I didnt on the Tiger and once you have the knack you get it on the stand easily enough. Biggest problem was the sidestand. It took 2 attempts to get that to a length I was happy with.

I have a 30" inseam as well. My mechanic lowered my 1200 by swinging the rear hub 180 degrees and raising the forks by about 1-1 1/2". This allowed me to get most of both feat on the road at stops! ;-)

I was able to compensate for the center stand now being higher (quite a lift to get the bike raised) by building a small platform (~ 4 inches) that I ride the rear wheel up on and then I can lift the bike onto the stand. Not quite able to list it up without that help.

I'm very happy with the results.
