I'm finding my Trophy is at fairly high revs on fast roads and I'm always trying to find an imaginary 7th gear.... am I alone?

Has anyone tried revising the gearing at all? Presumably you put a smaller sprocket on the rear and adjust the chain to fit...?

Any suggested ratio change through experience will be gratefully received!

Jeremy, what do you consider very high revs? When I am in 6th gear at 80 MPH the motor is turning about 5000 RPM.

I'd prefer to see 4000rpm at 80mph than 5000rpm, for more relaxed cruising and better fuel economy. I don't mean it's 'very' high - just higher than I'd like. I know the engine has plenty of strength and I'd imagine it could push the bike against the wind at lower revs without difficulty.

Hah ! you beat me to it, I was going to mention the 7th gear too. I'm wondering if anyone has made a simple top gear indicator light or similar.
