Out riding with the boys today. We stopped for gas and I filled the tank to the filler neck while on the side stand. I moved off and parked, went in and took a wizz, and when I returned there was gas running down the side stand and dripping from behind it. I stood the bike on its center stand and it seemed to stop, and I haven't noticed a leak since.
Does the Trophy ('96) have an overflow and if so, does it drain down somewhere around the kick stand? If not, it looks like I need to chase down a leak!

Yep, the Trophy does indeed have an overflow, and yes, it does leak out somewhere near the centerstand. If you fill the tank to the top of the neck, then park it in the sun, it most likely will overflow. Just quit the fill-up about 1/2" below the neck, and I'll bet you won't see any more overflow.
