Is it normal for the panel to develop condensation each time it rains. On taking the panel apart it has no seal to keep water out, should there be one? I'm contemplating taking it apart again and running a bit of silicone sealant round the out side to see if this cures the problem. The warning lights are hard enough to see as it is and the condensation only makes it worse.

yep. that seems normal w/ mine as well. Also, the clock and tach have the same "cloudability"... Honestly, though, I've never seen it as a problem. As you say, the lights are so hard to see in the first place, I rarely look at them anyways.

Cannot say I have experienced a water vapour problem but as for visability I found the panel lights bloody hopeless so installed two 1" round orange LED accessory indicator lights, in the area above each of the storage compartments, and then fitted another bright white indicator light in the center area below the indicator panel, that comes on when in neutral. Now at a slight glance I can see what is on.
