I was just curious what kind of mileage one could reasonably expect to get out of a well maintained Trophy 1200 before a major overhaul of either the top or bottom end was necessary? Also, are there plans for a shaft driven Trophy 1200 etc.?

From what I understand the inline four was their "comeback" engine so they overbuilt it to ensure it stayed reliable, Because it's an understressed watercooled inline four I expect to get basicaly automotive reliability from it

With semi-synthetic oil it should be good for at least 150~200K which at the rate I'm going should be right about when it's paid-off. :lollol:

I have heard of a couple of the older T3 and T4 motors going well over 100k. Take care of it and it should give you years of service.
