Do any of you guys know what the correct fork seals are for a 2000 Trophy 900? I can not find a reference anywhere. I always thought that it had 43mm Kayaba forks on it, but looking in the manual, it said that the Vin range it fell in was equipped with 43mm Showa's. I neeeeeeeed some advice.

Size is 43-55-10.5. Any fork seal from anyone with this size will work. I got mine from some place on-line in Colorado that didn't know they sold seals that fit a Triumph, but they were less than $20 shipped and very quick.

When i was over in France earlier this year one of our group on a 900 Trophy popped a fork seal. Fortunetly there was a bike garage right opposite the hotel and he fixed it.
He was also a Honda dealer, that's probably what he used and it was not exspensive.

Hi I replaced the fork seals and it still leaked. The bushes were worn too so I replaced the lot. (Well the nice man did!) Think about using the opportunity to replace the springs with progressive ones. The difference between my old leaking worn out springs etc is incredible. The bike corners on rails and is much more stable. On a Sterling vs smiles it's the best value for money that I know.

I replaced a fork seal on my 900 around 3,000 miles ago. I was extremely disapointed recently to discover it had gone again. However, I didn't get the opportunity to replace it before a 580 mile run last weekend. Vowing to replace it on my return I figured the forks would survive that long. Imagine my surprise to find that it has dried up. It can't possibly have lost all its oil or there would be evidence of this on the bike. I am quite pleased but at the same time suspicious. In the past on other machines once a seal goes it goes, although I must say that in all previous cases there has been a reason why they have gone eg pitting on the stanchion or bushes worn. My 900 has only just done 12,000 miles and the forks are still like brand new. Has anyone else experienced this?
Regards
