I put the Universal model on my '02. I had to move the brake lever assembly just a bit to fit the mounting bracket on the handlebar and, of course, cut the rod that the locking lever mounts on to the correct length. The locking lever had to be installed facing almost rearward so that the lever mounting rod would clear the switch assembly. All in all it worked out just fine, and later, I went to a Throttlemeister as it had heavier bar end weights, but all in all, the Vista was an easier one to use...I keep it in the garage, just in case.
