It is on all bikes. Can some one tell me the factory part number for it. It is a black sticker with white/silver lettering. It says what emission standards the bike meets. I am having a bad time registering my by in Cali without it.

Was your bike sold new in California ? as those bikes are fitted with a EVAP system and usually that is not on any other bikes sold in all other states. :???:

No. The clowns @ the DMV HAVE to see a sticker on the bike that says how environmentally friendly it is. ITs so stupid, their aren't even any standards for bikes here. I showed them the statement in the warrenty book and that is the statement it just has to be a sticker on the bike. I wonder if I tape that page to the bike it will be good enough? Grrr.

If the bike was not made for California emissions then you will have a hard time with DMV. If it was sold as new in California bike then ask Triumph America to verify it, vin number will be required, was produced to those California standards with the EVAP system. Otherwise you will have to use a out of state registration. Been there done that.

Midnightrider- I have enough of that sticker to tell thats what it could have been. But that is not good enough to Cali.

Netmaker-my bike is not a Cali bike, but according to the warrenty book it is good to go. Stupid DMV, I am waiting to hear from Triumph USA they are tracking a sticker down.

They want to know what standards it meets even though there are none that applied to bikes here.

these stickers tend to break up and fall off - at least that's what happened on my tbird. Dealer said they could get one but it would have to be specially ordered by VIN

****, just started another thread before seeing this.

Why does California feel the need to have to do everything differently? What a headache this seems like its going to be.

sounds like some lame-ass helmet law I know....

All this kind of stuff does is remind me of the Smug Alert episode of South Park. California needs to ease up just a bit on all this...
